“We are honored to be publishing this important collection on our new imprint, Abrams Press. Viet Thanh Nguyen has collected together an immensely  impressive group of writers, and their stories remind us of what we all stand to lose when we close our borders to immigrants, asylum seekers, refugees and others who have and continue to make our country a beacon of hope in the world .”
—Jamison Stoltz, Executive Editor, Abrams Press

The Displaced features essays from seventeen prominent refugee writers from around the world to explore and illuminate their experiences. A timely and poignant collection, the book is also an indictment of the international community closing its doors to refugees and a powerful look at what it means to be forced to leave home and find a place of asylum. Tour dates for the book’s publication to be announced.
